Dr. Shadi Aramesh is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with extensive training and expertise in general psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
She received her medical doctorate degree, with honors, from Fatemieh University of Medical Sciences, where she was selected for a scholarship based on her outstanding academic performance. She then pursued her General Psychiatry Residency training at Northwell Staten Island University Hospital, Hofstra School of Medicine in New York—an institution recognized nationally by the Joint Commission with a Top Performer Award. During her residency, she was elected as Chief Resident for her exemplary leadership and patient care.Following her residency, Dr. Aramesh completed a two-year specialized fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York. Once again, she was elected Chief Fellow, recognized for her dedication to patients and her leadership in teaching residents and medical students.
Dr. Aramesh is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a sub-specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Licensed in both California and New York, she currently practices in Newport Beach, CA, where she provides compassionate, holistic care. She integrates psychotherapy and medication management, aiming not only for symptom remission but also for long-term wellness and relapse prevention.
